SSUMC Childrens' G.R.E.A.T. Adventure Sunday Morning Live - Drama, Music and Puppetry Workshop

 

Sunday Morning Live, our Drama, Music and Puppetry workshop, features a lively purple stage for special SSUMC productions. Children read or listen to the Bible story and discuss it, talking in depth about each character and scene. Then the story is re-enacted using props and costumes or perhaps a new modern-day script is written to explain the same principle or concept being taught.

Puppets and music are also an integral part of this workshop. Students often videotape themselves as they star in their own productions. Reluctant actors can contribute through drawing scenery on our large chalkboard-painted background.
